An ability used to be a card with a single line of cost, and the AI made up the effect. Now it does exactly what was put into it.

  • Effects — several per ability, active and passive. Tiers edit them and switch them off: a novice's penalties fade with growth

  • On target — damage flies at the enemy, not at whoever cast it. Area effects too

  • Investment 💥 — the player decides how much to pour in: one ability strikes at half strength or with everything

  • Removal — you can tear off someone else's delusion, not only impose your own. An antidote quenches poison by the same mechanism

  • Showcase — every ability has its own address: someone searching for it by name lands in your world

Potions stopped being text too: drink one and you are healed by the numbers, and the vial leaves your pack.
