A jutsu with a written effect β€” blindness, burns, a battle form β€” spent chakra and left no trace. NPCs carried no conditions at all, so fighting them ran on description alone.

  • Conditions land β€” whatever the author wrote into a jutsu is what it now inflicts: stage, penalty, duration

  • NPCs wound and are wounded β€” burning, bleeding and genjutsu show up in the scene roster

  • Fair turn order β€” someone else always acts between your two posts, and a slain NPC won't rise to finish its line

  • A stronger arbiter β€” it brings back an NPC that dropped out, unsticks a frozen one, and revokes a condition nothing in the posts caused

  • Threefold, not tenfold β€” investing into a jutsu boosts it Γ—3 at most: mastery decides, not volume

Half the jutsu in Chronicles of Konoha carried their effects all along β€” the scene simply never read them. Now it does.
