Node leaders can build assignments in stages: send a squad to another country, set up a combat encounter, and tie the outcome to the village’s needs.
Geography — open locations across the world with their full paths; the GM can restrict selection to the node’s territory.
Ranks and encounters — the GM approves assignment types and sets the objective, rank, and opponents. Defeated NPCs do not respawn.
Treasury and experience — costs are paid up front, and rewards have budgets. Loot from these encounters is disabled.
Fix the premise — the GM can correct the location and situation of an unfinished stage, providing a reason. The history is preserved.
More room for village affairs, under rules set by the GM.
