The home page of every world handed the crawler a shell with "Loading...": 232 characters of text and not a single heading. For Google the home page effectively did not exist — even though it is the one that gathers external weight and passes it on to the rest. We fixed that, and five more places where a page lost itself on the way to search.
The server sends the finished page — fandom and roleplay home pages are now assembled server-side: instead of a shell, the crawler gets a heading and text
41% less weight — every translation of an entity type was carrying its own copy of the page template: eleven copies on a single character's page
Structure appeared — section headings became real h2 elements instead of merely bold text: the page is no longer a wall without sections
Images are visible — frames and GIFs got meaningful descriptions, and the sitemap now offers all of them, not just one cover
The snippet gets to the point — the description answers the query with something concrete, and filler like "find out everything" is banned: space in the results is limited
The difference makes the description — if a fandom has a live roleplay world, that reaches the search results: encyclopedias let you read about a character, here you play as one
For world owners: the SEO page now has manual-run buttons — "Fill the empty ones" and "Regenerate everything" — and the entity list shows the whole snippet rather than the title alone. We will measure the effect in Search Console in 2-4 weeks.
